Jim Corbett National Park is the first wildlife reserve of India. Corbett National Park comprises an area of 13000sq km out of that there is a periphery of 50 kms where all the hotels & resorts are located. Jim Corbett Park area includes Kalagarh forest division and Ramnagar forest division. Jim Corbett Park was founded in 1936 and was named as Ramganga National Park. But after the death of Sir Jim Corbett the park was named as Jim Corbett National Park.
